IS ZECHARIAH 12 ABOUT TO BE FULFILLED ?

Several books have recently been published that assert that Psalm 83 predicts a fierce attack soon  to  be launched on Israel in the Last Days. Asaph, the author of the Psalm was also a Seer or Prophet (2 Chronicles 29:30) and in this Psalm this fact is very obvious. In the books that are now appearing it is suggested that the stage has already been set in the Middle East for the imminent fulfilment of this amazing prophecy. The nations described in Psalm 83 are all close neighbours of Israel. They are also all Muslim nations whose fervent desire is to annihilate the State of Israel in the name of Allah. They also believe that Jerusalem will soon become the capital city of a new Islamic Caliphate which they believe will rule the whole world.  Most, it not all of these new books suggest that some time after the fulfilment of this war, the war predicted in Ezekiel 38 and 39 will be the next great conflagration involving Israel.  However, another book which also presents the imminent fulfilment of Psalm 83 also asserts that this prophecy is the same war described by Zechariah in chapter 12. Is this the only book that makes this prediction and can it possibly be true?  The book to which I refer is entitled “THE MESSIAH COMES TO ISRAEL” which also makes the assertion that in this scenario, the Messiah actually comes to Israel and appears “in the midst of Israel”. 

Could this possibly be the true return of the Messiah to Jerusalem as predicted in Acts 1:11 when two Angels appeared to the disciples,

11 They said, "Men of Galilee, why are you standing here staring at the sky? Jesus has been taken away from you into heaven. And someday, just as you saw him go, he will return!" NLT

In Psalm 83, Asaph appeals to God to take action against His enemies who are making secret plans to totally annihilate Israel in such a devastating manner that even the very memory of it will be obliterated for ever. Psalms 83:3-4

3 They devise crafty schemes against your people, laying plans against your precious ones.

4 "Come," they say, "let us wipe out Israel as a nation. We will destroy the very memory of its existence." NLT

However, they also plan to take possession of the actual land of Israel to transform it for the glory of Allah.  Psalms 83:12

12 for they said, "Let us seize for our own use these pasturelands of God!" NLT

Unfortunately for these religious warriors, Almighty God Yahweh has His own plan which is outlined at the close of the Psalm.  Psalms 83:15-18

15 chase them with your fierce storms; terrify them with your tempests.

16 Utterly disgrace them until they submit to your name, O LORD.

17 Let them be ashamed and terrified forever. Make them failures in everything they do,

18 until they learn that you alone are called the LORD, that you alone are the Most High, supreme over all the earth. NLT

God’s plan is to drastically terrify and disgrace Israel’s enemies, making them totally ashamed and failures in everything they have planned until they confess that Yahweh is the Most High God, supreme over the whole earth. Not only will their armies be defeated, their cherished prophetic plans for the land becoming the centre of the new Islamic Caliphate will also be destroyed.

Zechariah 12 tells a very similar story with several extra features. It begins with the threat of an attack on Israel by all her surrounding neighbours, plus the support of all the Gentile nations of the earth. It also predicts their defeat.

Zechariah 12:2-3  

2 "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.

3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. NKJV

The attacking armies will begin to act like a drunken mob, lacking good sense and coordination. Their efforts will lack cohesion and efficiency.

Zechariah 12:5-6

 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the LORD of hosts, their God.'
6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place — Jerusalem. NKJV

The Hebrew word for governors in verse 5 is alluphim, which is the modern Hebrew word for Generals. Their forces will become like blazing torches amongst dry sheaves. They will devour their enemies on the right hand and the left. However, their forces may appear to be so outnumbered that the Generals declare that their trust has been transferred to Yahweh Sabaoth, the Lord of heaven’s  Armies who are led by the “Angel of the Lord” who is actually the Messiah of Israel.

Zechariah 12:8

 8 In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the LORD before them.

God will decisively defeat all the nations that come against Israel with a resounding victory. Even the physically feeble elderly citizens and children, will be strong like David and be like the Angel of the Lord who precedes them. God will destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.

9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. NKJV

However, this astonishing defeat will not be the most sensational result, because immediately following the rousing defeat God will pour out His Holy Spirit on all the descendants of David. The Holy Spirit will be poured out with grace (unmerited  favour) and supplications (relevant prayers and intercession).  No doubt the prayers will contain cries of repentance and “Blessed are you who come in the Name of the LORD”. Such prayers will surely be the most remarkable feature of the day.

Zechariah 12:10-11

10 "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. NKJV

The Holy Spirit of grace and supplications will be poured forth so powerfully that the eyes of all the recipients will be miraculously healed from their previous spiritual blindness. They will look face to face upon their Deliverer and recognize His true identity by the marks of the piercings in His body. This recognition will initiate a national repentance that will transform their perception of their Messiah forever. All the inhabitants of Israel will experience a powerful transformation. This will become the day when the nation will be truly birthed as predicted by Isaiah (Isaiah 66:8).  Surely this will be the most remarkable thing that has ever  happened to Israel.  Can it really be true that it will happen in the very near future? When it does, the whole world will reel in astonished amazement.

It Will Also Be The Time Predicted By Jeremiah 31:31-34

31 "The day will come," says the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah.

32 This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant, though I loved them as a husband loves his wife," says the LORD.

33 "But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day," says the LORD. "I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

34 And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their family, saying, 'You should know the LORD.' For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will already know me," says the LORD. "And I will forgive their wickedness and will never again remember their sins." NLT

This New Covenant will be written on all Israeli hearts and minds and will initiate the new spiritual relationship with Israel that God has always planned. Is this most exciting and glorious event about to take place in the very imminent future?  As certain as  the attack predicted against Israel, so certain also will be the glorious outpouring and subsequent national transformation. The attack could happen any day now and  when it does Zechariah 12:10 will immediately follow it.

It is a weapon that was obviously used to great advantage by the early Church so effectively, it overthrew the many enemies that sought to obstruct and destroy the Church as it spread across the face of the globe. Sadly, through many carnal infiltrations, the Church gradually abandoned its emphasis on its secret weapon, which many modern believers have heard very little about. That weapon is the power of the blood of Christ, which He shed on the Cross. The Church urgently needs to rediscover why Jesus had to die and shed His blood.

IDF RABBI TWEETS PROPHECY POINTING TO MESSIAH'S COMING

As more and more Israelis get called up for active military duty in preparation for a possible invasion of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, the chief rabbi of the Israeli army (IDF) has been posting inspirational scriptures to his Twitter feed.

Among the scriptures posted yesterday was Zechariah 12:10, a passage Christians and Messianic Jews see as pointing to Yeshua as Messiah.

"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication."

Due to Twitter's space limitations, the rabbi's post stopped there. The verse continues:

"They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son."

The IDF chief rabbi has posted that verse before, but it seemed to many to be especially timely now as the battle in Gaza rages and the world howls against Israel. It is also timely because of the verse immediately preceding it, Zechariah 12:9:

"On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem."

The rabbi's posting from Zechariah came just a day after Gaza-based terrorists fired a missile at Jerusalem.

PSALM 83, AN END TIMES PROPHECY

Psalm 83 is a psalm that through the years millions of Christians must have read and been blessed by, without realizing that it actually contains a profound prophecy about the Last days. It prophetically describes an attack that will be launched on Israel, the final effect of which will be an amazing victory that will cause the attackers to acknowledge that Yahweh is the one true God.

The Psalm predicts the very nations that will attack Israel, all of which are today  Islamic nations. Their aim is to wipe Israel off the map, destroying even its very memory.

⁴ They say, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation so that Israel’s name will no longer be remembered.” ⁵ For they have conspired with one mind; they form an alliance against You—
⁶ the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites, ⁷ Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre. ⁸ Even Assyria has joined them; they lend support^[c] to the sons of Lot. Selah HCSB

The final verses describe the ultimate result of the attack.

Psalm 83:17-18

¹⁷ Let them be put to shame and terrified forever; let them perish in disgrace. ¹⁸ May they know that You alone—whose name is Yahweh—are the Most High over all the earth. HCSB

The attack on Israel, vividly described in Psalm 83 and Zechariah 12, is a critical stage in a plan to establish a New Islamic Caliphate meant to initially dominate the Middle East and subsequently the whole world.  Many Islamic leaders around the world are now talking openly and boldly about the current emergence of this dream. Presently Israel is the world’s first line of defence against this sinister aim which would eventually have a profoundly sinister negative effect on every nation. One part of that effect would be the total banning of Judaism, Christianity and all world religions other than Islam. The Caliphate would seek to ultimately introduce radical Shariah law across the whole earth.  What should every Bible believing person do in the face of this threatened onslaught?

The fanatical elements of modern Islam now believe that a dream that many Muslims have cherished for centuries, can finally be realized. It is a dream in which Islam will dominate the whole world under a new Islamic caliphate, bringing it under total subjection to shariah law. An Islamic caliphate is the equivalent of a kingdom. Muslim are now declaring that Jerusalem will be its capital city. Israel is therefore currently the first line of defense in a war that Islam believes will ultimately bring the whole world under Islamic control. This dream can only be aborted by a supernatural victory that Yahweh Sabaoth will achieve for Israel.

There has never been a day when modern Israel is at so much risk. The danger they face from every direction is far worse than the six day war in 1967. The threat stems from the current rise of  radical Islam and its fresh determination to establish a new caliphate with Jerusalem as its capital city. Although such a caliphate has long been the dream of radical Islamists, it is only in recent times that they have openly declared that the dream can now be realized. Recent drastic changes in Iran and Egypt have given Muslims cause to believe that the dream can finally be realized.  We have been focusing recently on the attack that will soon be launched on Israel and Jerusalem, vividly depicted especially in Psalm 83 and Zechariah 12 and mentioned in numerous other parts of the Bible.  We need to ask  “What is the ultimate objective of this attack?” I believe that in the Islamic mind it is the all important step towards a world under Muslim rule.

Psalms 83:1-8

1 O God, don't sit idly by, silent and inactive!

2 Don't you hear the tumult of your enemies? Don't you see what your arrogant enemies are doing?

3 They devise crafty schemes against your people, laying plans against your precious ones.

4 "Come," they say, "let us wipe out Israel as a nation. We will destroy the very memory of its existence."

5 This was their unanimous decision. They signed a treaty as allies against you  

6 these Edomites and Ishmaelites, Moabites and Hagrites,

7 Gebalites, Ammonites, and Amalekites, and people from Philistia and Tyre.

8 Assyria has joined them, too, and is allied with the descendants of Lot. NLT

1.     This attack is made primarily against Yahweh and His chosen people.

2.     The plans are carefully made in secret.

3.     The nations involved have formed an alliance and made a treaty.

4.     They plan to totally obliterate Israel and even the memory of its existence.

5.     The nations involved are all Islamic

6.     They plan to establish Islamic rule over “Palestine.”

7.     The next steps would be towards world domination.

8.     Judaism and Christianity would be outlawed.

9.     No religions other than Islam would be allowed to be practiced.

10.The whole world would subsequently come under Shariah law.

Thousands of Muslim Brotherhood supporters in Egypt recently declared, “We can see how the dream of the Islamic caliphate is now being realized, God willing, by Dr. Mohamed Mursi,”

Safwat Higazi (a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood) recently (7-5-2012) told thousands of Brotherhood supporters at a Cairo soccer stadium, as President Mursi – the movement’s presidential candidate looked on – and other Brotherhood officials nodded in agreement. “The capital of the caliphate – the capital of the United States of the Arabs – will be Jerusalem, God willing,” Higazi said. “Our capital shall not be in Cairo, Mecca or Medina,” he said, before leading the crowd in chants of “Millions of martyrs march toward Jerusalem.”

Definition

A caliphate is the traditional Islamic form of government, presided over by a caliph, either appointed or elected person, who is considered the political leader of all Muslims. It also incorporates a shura, a body similar to a parliament, that represents the will of the people and may elect and/or advise the caliph. Though originally  and ideally according to some, a caliphate — or the caliphate — is a unique entity that unites all Muslims under its rule.

Abdullah Azzam a leading Islamic terrorist, declares that his life "revolved around a single goal, namely the establishment of Allah's Rule on earth" and restoring the caliphate.

The New Caliphate Necessitates Complete Conquest Of Israel

Following are excerpts from an interview with Hamas MP and cleric Yunis Al-Astal, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on May 11, 2011:

Yunis Al-Astal: The [Jews] are brought in droves to Palestine so that the Palestinians – and the Islamic nation behind them – will have the honor of annihilating the evil of this gang.

…All the predators, all the birds of prey, all the dangerous reptiles and insects, and all the lethal bacteria are far less dangerous than the Jews.

…In just a few years, all the Zionists and the settlers will realize that their arrival in Palestine was for the purpose of the great massacre, by means of which Allah wants to relieve humanity of their evil.

…When Palestine is liberated and its people return to it, and the entire region, with the grace of Allah, will have turned into the United States of Islam, the land of Palestine will become the capital of the Islamic Caliphate, and all these countries will turn into states within the Caliphate.

A decisive battle will soon be launched against Israel by all her near neighbors plus Iran (Psalm 83 and Zechariah 12). It will be an extremely decisive attack that will alter the whole world’s future. The Church must be ready for this attack, and its amazing aftermath.

1.  A Dilemma Is: A situation in which an extremely difficult choice has to be made between two or more difficult alternatives, especially equally undesirable ones.  Israel’s present dilemma in the face of ferocious threats of annihilation, is whether to wait or to strike.  The haunting memories of the gas chambers, and what happened when Jews “waited” in the 1930’s, are still vivid and raw in the Jewish minds. The awful dilemma that currently faces Benjamin Netanyahu is whether to wait for an attack to be launched on Israel, or to launch a pre-emptive strike. In the 1930’s European Jews waited anxiously,  hopeful that Germany would relent from its threats, the result was  a massive annihilation of innocent Jews. They were believing for deliverance until the last moment but six million perished. Their belief was partly in man’s ultimate civilized humanity. Sadly, not even the Church showed it. The Church worldwide stood in idle silence. What about today’s Church? The scene today is reminiscent of Masadah when 980 Jews committed suicide rather than fall into the hands of the Romans in AD 73. Masada today is one of the Jewish people's greatest symbols. Many Israeli soldiers take an oath there: "Masada shall not fall again."  The battle today is between western civilized secular culture, and traditional Islamic belief in world domination.. The growth of Islamic Fundamentalism is an attempt to restore Islam to the glories of Islamic history. Many Fundament  - alist (Muslims) ask themselves the question, If Islam is the religion of Allah, why are we being defeated by the West (United States) and Israel.  The fundamentalist sees the problem with the failure of Islamic nations to live as the Quran commands. The often stated purpose of International Islam is ultimately total world conquest. This began in the Middle Ages, being eventually defeated at Poitiers (Tours) by Charles Martell. In 732. 1 The first stage of the intended conquest is the absolute destruction of Israel, transforming it into the capital city of the new world Islamic caliphate.  2 Secondly, the conquest of USA, then, the remainder of the world. The USA is known to Muslims as “The great satan.”  Israel is called the small satan. Through an Islamic triumph over Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya and all nations of the Arabic alliance. The new Egyptian President  Mursi announcing the birth of  a New World Caliphate, with Jerusalem as its capital city, recently declared  “our capital will not be Cairo or Mecca but Al Qods”. (Jerusalem) 3 A third phase of Islamic strategy is through planned immigrant invasion. USA, Canada, UK, France, Belgium etc.  Millions of Muslims are successfully entering non Islamic nations. Whilst many of these may be genuinely seeking a better life for themselves and their children, many are also settling in their new nations secretly waiting for a day when Islam will plan to conquer that nation. 4 A fourth strategy is through mass natural population increase.  It is well known that Muslim families are the most prolific nations on earth. Islamic Al Qod’s Day The present level of fanatical militancy towards Israel and Jerusalem was launched in 1979, when the founder of Iran's Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini, declared that the last Friday of Ramadan would henceforth be Qods Day (this year it fell on August 17, 2012), and that this holiday would express the Iranian aspiration for the liberation of the lands of Palestine from Israel. Committee for Supporting the Intifada in Palestine Director-General Hossein explained: "Qods Day is the day when millions of sons of the Muslim peoples, in Iran and in the Islamic countries, are in the arena of confrontation with the arrogance [i.e. the West, headed by the U.S.] and the Zionist regime, and call unanimously, with “divine”  inspiration and while fasting [during Ramadan], for the destruction of the regime occupying Jerusalem and for the victory of the Intifada of the Palestinian people." IRNA (Iran), July 29, 2012. In August of 2012, some 5 million pilgrims at Mecca celebrated this intention.

What Is At Stake In this war?

The ultimate triumph or failure of  Islam.
The ultimate truth or lies of the Koran, and Hadith’s prophecies.
The conquest of Israel and capture of Temple Mount.
The establishment of the ultimate world caliphate  with capital in Jerusalem. In its infancy, Islamists bowed towards Jerusalem. The present plan is to revive the glory of ancient Islam which essentially includes Islamic rule over Palestine (Israel)

What Is In Islam’s Arsenal?

Militant Islam has been resurrected  aided by huge Islamic oil supplies.

Islam has immense wealth for building mosques, buying universities and various favors internationally. Etc

A deliberate migration policy into many non Islamic nations

A vast variety of  ultra offensive weapons of mass destruction.

Cleverly designed plans and strategies for every eventuality. 

Fanatical belief in Allah and fulfillment of his prophetic plans.

Islam’s intense fanatical intention.

Muslim Attack on Israel and Jerusalem   (Psalm 83, Zech 12)

1.     The attack on Israel will soon be launched.  (Psalm 83 and Zechariah 12)

2.     God will grant Israel an astounding victory.   (Zechariah 12:8-9) The ensuing war will be between Allah and Yahweh

3.     The Holy Spirit will be poured out upon Israel  (Zechariah 12:10)

4.     The nation will repent and be transformed.   (Zechariah 12:11)

5.     Traditional Bible prophecy will be seen in a new light.

6.     Messianic Jews and Christians will emerge as ONE NEW MAN.

7.     Increasing anti-Semitism will be against Israel, Jewish people and Messianic Christians.

8.     A world wide battle between believers in Christ, and the Muslim anti Christ will increase.

If The Islamic Attack On Israel Was Successful

1.     Iran, Egypt  and  their Islamic allies on the borders of Israel, are working fervently towards their ultimate plan to subjugate the world.

2.     The attack on Israel would be the first essential step. Claiming Eretz Israel for Islam.

3.     Allah would then be regarded as the true god of the universe .  If the Islamic forces were able to achieve the victorious result they passionately seek, Allah and Islam would be feared throughout the world.

4.     The Koran would also be proven to be true.

5.     The Bible would be proved to be false and worthless. More than 25% of the Bible is predictive prophecy, most of it involving the ultimate future of Israel

6.     Every Jew and Christian would have to embrace Islam or be killed.

7.     The Muslim Anti Christ would rule the world. (Revelation 13:8-12).

8.     The civilizing influence of Judeo/Christianity would be lost forever.

9.     The Western World would be dragged back into the dark ages.

10.The world would never recover from such a calamity.

Many Bible prophecies,  that most Christians have always felt referred to the dim and distant future, will soon be fulfilled. Ironically it is the Muslim world that positively anticipates such prophetic fulfillment at this time rather than the Christians. However the great victory that God achieves for Israel that is described so graphically in Psalm 83 and Zechariah 12, will demoralize many Muslims and greatly minimize the influence of Islam. Many Muslims will convert to faith in the Messiah and the God of Israel. Israel’s territory and influence will increase enormously. In eras that unfold after this, the world will go through many grievous trials but both Israel and the Church will experience many resounding triumphs and victories.

How To Pray

1.     Understand that Israel will become the world’s first line of successful defence against it becoming a Shariah Caliphate.

2.     Pray for Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet for Divine wisdom.

3.     Pray for the whole nation of Israel for deliverance and safety. Pray for all members of the IDF.

4.     Pray that the attack will be minimized in regard to loss of lives.

5.     Pray for the victory envisaged in Psalm 83 and Zechariah 12.

6.     Pray for the ultimate spiritual restoration of Israel. (Zech 12:10 – 13:1)

7.     Pray for millions of Muslim conversions to Messiah.

The New Egyptian President’s Message To The World:

A devastating war is about to break out very soon. Initially it will begin in the Middle East but its impact will soon be felt around the whole world. The war itself may last for a very short time but the ultimate results of it may have eternal repercussions.  This is a very decisive moment for mankind. Certain Results Accruing From The Attack

1.      It will certainly happen.

4.      The world’s circumstances will change dramatically and irrevocably.

5.      Islam will be severely wounded but not eliminated.

6.      Yahweh will pour out His Holy Spirit on Israel.

8.      The whole prophetic future for Israel, the Church, Islam and the world will be amazingly transformed.

This predicted attack on Israel will become a world changing moment in human history.  Certain events that are currently happening now and in the immediate future are transpiring currently in Egypt and Iran.

   

Addressing the world at his recent inauguration, Egyptian  President  Morsi proclaimed “a message of peace as well as righteousness and justice.” He repeated his pledge to uphold Egypt’s treaty obligations, implicitly including its pact with Israel. (This part of the speech was obviously for international consumption, although the underlying, subliminal message is also clear).

In the same speech he also declared: “I say from here that Egypt is with the Palestinian people,” he said. “We will work for reconciliation until they unite and get their rights.”

During The Same Week Another Message Was Heard, This Time From Iran.

“Just days after the breakdown of talks with the West over Iran’s nuclear program, the deputy chief commander of the Revolutionary Guards announced that there soon will be war – and that Allah will ensure his forces are victorious.                                                                                                    reports Reza Kahlili, the former Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps officer who later turned and became a double agent against Iran for the CIA. “General Hossein Salami, in a televised interview, boasted that, ‘Iran has complete control of all the enemy’s interests around the world and is on a path to reach equivalency with world powers.’ The commander emphasized that Iran’s nuclear program is irreversible, the Islamic Republic News Agency reported. Salami said war is inevitable, and the Iranian forces are ready. ‘The Guards’ operational plan includes a radius of deterrence in the region in which all interests of the enemy have been identified, and in case of war, those interests will be attacked.’ The Revolutionary Guards have more than 1,000 ballistic missiles capable of reaching all U.S. bases in the region, all of Israel and some capitals in Europe. In collaboration with China and North Korea, they are also working on intercontinental ballistic missiles.”

WHAT THE NEW EGYPTIAN PRESIDENT RECENTLY SAID

In a recently posted video on the MEMRI.org website, we can see a speech that the Muslim Brotherhood senior leader turned new President of Egypt Mohamed Morsi gave in Cairo on May 13, 2012 in which he declared: “The Koran is our constitution. The Prophet Muhammad is our leader. Jihad is our path. And death for the sake of Allah is our most lofty aspiration.” Then, Morsi proclaims “This nation will enjoy blessing and revival only through the Islamic sharia [law].” He adds: “I take an oath before Allah and before you all that regardless of the actual text [of the current Egyptian constitution], Allah willing, the text will truly reflect sharia law, as will be agreed upon by the Egyptian people, by the Islamic scholars, and by legal and constitutional experts. Rejoice and rest assured that these people will not accept a text that does not reflect the true meaning of the Islamic sharia as a text to be implemented and as a platform. The people will not agree to anything else.”

Egypt will be involved in the attack against Israel and Jerusalem (Psalm 83:6). Yahweh Sabaoth will respond and overwhelmingly defeat Egypt (Isaiah 19) but in the end He will send a savior who will rescue and redeem them, bringing them to Himself.

Isaiah 19:16-20  - God’s Prophecy Regarding Egypt’s Future

16 In that day the Egyptians will be as weak as women. They will cower in fear beneath the upraised fist of the LORD Almighty.
17 Just to speak the name of Israel will strike deep terror in their hearts, for the LORD Almighty has laid out his plans against them.

18 In that day five of Egypt's cities will follow the LORD Almighty. They will even begin to speak the Hebrew language. One of these will be Heliopolis, the City of the Sun.
19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and there will be a monument to the LORD at its border.
20 It will be a sign and a witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt. When the people cry to the LORD for help against those who oppress them, he will send them a savior who will rescue them.  NLT

A decisive battle will soon be launched against Israel by all her near neighbors plus Iran (Psalm 83 and Zechariah 12). It will be an extremely decisive attack that will alter the whole world’s future. The Church must be ready for this attack, and its amazing aftermath.

Muslim Attack on Israel and Jerusalem   (Psalm 83, Zech 12)

2. God will grant Israel an astounding victory.   (Zechariah 12:8-9)

8. A world wide battle between believers in Christ, and the Muslim anti Christ will increase.

If The Islamic Attack On Israel Was Successful

1. Iran and her Islamic allies on the borders of Israel, are working fervently towards their ultimate plan to subjugate the world.
2. The attack on Israel would be the first essential step. Claiming Israel for Islam.
3. Allah would then be regarded as the true god.  If the Islamic forces were able to achieve the victorious result they passionately seek, Allah and Islam would be feared throughout the world.
4. The Koran would also be proven to be true.
5. The Bible would be proved to be false and worthless. More than 25% of the Bible is predictive prophecy, most of it involving the ultimate future of Israel
6. Every Jew and Christian would have to embrace Islam or be killed.
7. The Muslim Anti Christ would rule the world. (Revelation 13:8-12).
8. The civilizing influence of Judeo/Christianity would be lost forever.
9. The Western World  would be dragged back into the dark ages.
10. The world would never recover from such a calamity.
